Our primary goal was to meet all of the businesses both within the Kingfisher shopping centre and outside. My secondary aim was also to gather more useful content to assist in the promotion of both the businesses and the town. I enjoyed chatting to the businesses, learning more about why they do what they do and even indulged in a little shopping for myself!
It was great to witness first-hand the positive relationship between the BID and it’s levy payers. The atmosphere within the businesses was buzzing, they were clearly excited for the upcoming events and what they could bring to them in terms of sales, footfall and dwell time.
Redditch BID have been working on an extremely packed events calendar this year. When I visited, they were preparing for the arrival of TITAN and are welcoming Peter Andre to their Christmas light switch on this weekend!
It was lovely to catch up with the BID Manager, Mujibur Rahman, at the local coffee shop as well as bumping into Adrien Field (Manager of the Kingfisher) and Nicole Vanacore (Kingfisher Marketing).
We look forward to visiting Redditch again in the near future!
